This case study documents the end-to-end UX redesign of the Sea Save Foundation (SSF) website, an organization dedicated to ocean conservancy and legislation. The project's goal was to enhance user engagement and information dissemination by addressing key usability challenges identified through comprehensive user research, including heuristic evaluation, stakeholder interviews, and user surveys. Our process spanned ideation, wireframing, and iterative prototyping, which involved testing lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes.

Key iterations focused on simplifying the complex navigation structure, improving information legibility, and optimizing the critical newsletter sign-up flow, which is central to SSF's mission. The final hi-fi iteration successfully improved user metrics, resulting in a 100% success rate for finding core newsletter sign-up and article links, culminating in a more intuitive, visually cohesive, and impactful online platform for ocean enthusiasts.
